New paper out in Clinical Epidemiology validating IBD diagnostic codes in the Danish National Patient Registry (DNPR). In this study > 8,000 medical records are validated through chart review. Knowing the reliability of these diagnostic codes in the DNPR is pivotal when performing large-scale register studies:
